This is a prolonged gourmet experience, not an easy eat a few sticks and run kinda joint. Amazing how the the grill anchors the whole restaurant. The way the chef coaxes the flavors out of the different chicken parts tastes like love and respect for the chickens' sacrafice. Traditional Japanese service. Chicken liver medium well is best use of this ingredient I know. Most are lightly seasoned so the chicken subtleties really shine through.

Wonderland authentic Japanese place. I’ve been coming here for years and the quality stayed the same with very reasonable prices. It delicious and very neat. Owned by husband and wife: he grills the chicken parts in front of you and she cooks the appetizers. What to order: 5 or 9 stick course (comes with 5/9 stick of different chicken parts, soup, salad, appetizer) and Soboro rice is amazing (small size is quite large).

This mom and pop yakitori spot is great! Pretty authentic if you ask me. Not sure why people were complaining about the service. Service was great. Maybe because it was a little slow? But that's expected at a yakitori spot. I want my chicken grilled to perfection! I come to drink, chill, and socialize with my friends when I go to yakitori spots. Isn't that what yakitori spots are meant for? It's like a bar, but with quality food. I also read some reviews that they were discriminative? I'm Korean and they were pretty nice to me...ha ha (go learn some history if you didn't get that reference). Anyways, I always order the chicken thigh (can order it with salt or marinated), chicken neck (bombdotcom), chicken skin (we all know that always tastes good), gizzard (for the more courageous), okra and shishito peppers (for some veggies). The lady said the wings were good and they were delicious! I will order more of that the next time I go. Moving forward, combine all that with a lot of beer and sake and you will have a great experience! Kanpai!

Wonderful restaurant! It was our first time eating here. We didn’t understand at first that it’s a leisurely dining experience so allow for time. The food was wonderful and so tasty. We will definitely be back again.
